SimCapture is a comprehensive device for capturing, debriefing, and assessing multiple types of simulation encounters
SimCapture records multiple feeds digitally, handles annotation and debriefing, integrates with multiple types of simulators and builds searchable participant portfolios automatically. SimCapture also manages users, provides tools for scenario and checklist creation and generates multiple types of usage, session and aggregate reports, all from a 100% web-based interface. SimCapture is currently in use at prominent hospitals, medical schools and nursing programs in the United States, Canada and Europe.
SimCapture's software and hardware package is comprehensive. Upon system setup, users are able to record, annotate and debrief sessions digitally. Sessions are also archived and associated with individual participants to automatically create portfolios. SimCapture's debriefing software automatically generates trend lines for physiological data and log files for events and drug interactions. Both are dynamic and "clickable", allowing users to quickly jump to relevant sections in the digital video. In addition, educators are able to create evaluations for participants and monitors to conduct pre, live and post-encounter assessments to track the effectiveness of their simulation programs.
SimCapture can function independently, on or offline and within a network of other SimCapture and SimCapture Mobile devices to form a powerful centralized system for virtually limitless coverage, expansion and research possibilities.
