B-Line Medical Integrates with Laerdal's LLEAP

WASHINGTON, D.C. – October 15th, 2015 – B-Line Medical has collaborated with Laerdal Medical and completed integration between SimCapture and Laerdal’s LLEAP software. The SimCapture LLEAP plugin allows users to start and stop their SimCapture sessions directly from within the LLEAP Instructor Application. The integration saves time for operators who now only need to have one interface open to control and record the simulation, and adds the potential for greater data exchange between Laerdal simulators and SimCapture.

WASHINGTON, D.C. - October 1, 2015 - B-Line Medical, an industry leader in video-driven healthcare education and outcome improvement, is pleased to announce that it has won the opportunity to bid on Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences' (USUHS) $51 million medical simulation education IDIQ contract (indefinite delivery / indefinite quantity) in conjunction with Bridges System Integration LLC. The team of Bridges System Integration and B-Line Medical is one of only 17 vendors deemed qualified to bid.

Founded July 1st, 2005, B-Line Medical began as a small start-up with a client list of four U.S. medical schools. Today, B-Line Medical helps hundreds of hospitals, nursing programs, allied health programs and medical schools operate and manage their simulation-based healthcare training and clinical care quality improvement programs more effectively.

Simulation Effective for up to Half of Nurse Training

WASHINGTON, D.C. - February 24, 2015 - B-Line Medical announced today that it has partnered with the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing to provide nursing education and hospital simulation programs access to robust and proven healthcare curriculum. The recent NCSBN National Simulation Study, published by the Journal of Nursing Regulation, found substantial evidence that up to 50% simulation training can be effectively substituted for traditional clinical experience in all prelicensure core nursing courses.

B-Line Medical Launches Cloud Video Platform

WASHINGTON, D.C. - October 24th, 2014 - B-Line Medical today introduced a Cloud Video Platform for SimCapture and LiveCapture. The new platform enables clients to backup their videos directly to the cloud in real-time and to have immediate access to stream their videos for debriefing from anywhere they have network access. To maximize the debriefing experience, the Cloud Video Platform automatically identifies whether local or cloud storage is the optimal video location to utilize for playback.

B-Line Medical Launches SimCapture IP

WASHINGTON, D.C. - July 18th, 2014 - Today, B-Line Medical introduced an IP-based version of its best-in-class SimCapture product. SimCapture IP designed to support network-based IP cameras. In an ongoing effort to meet the needs of simulation programs with a variety of budgets, this latest addition to B-Line Medical's stable allows for both more variety in infrastructure for clients who are building or have existing facilities, and more options for clients who have already committed to an IP/network-based infrastructure.
